BIOGRAPHY

Mallory Bubbett, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker at the OCD Institute | Texas. She is passionate about helping individuals and families find freedom from anxiety and reconnect with the lives they want to live. Mallory takes a collaborative approach to therapy—walking alongside each client in their recovery journey and finding deep fulfillment in witnessing transformation take root.

Mallory earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development, Language, and Creativity from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work.

She began her clinical training through the Menninger Clinic Social Work Fellowship (2023–2024) on the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program, where she worked with adolescents and their families navigating anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma. During this fellowship, Mallory was exposed to a wide variety of clinical presentations and therapeutic approaches, which sparked a growing interest in family work and family systems theory. Following this experience, she completed her clinical training at the OCD Institute of Texas, where she grounded into a cognitive-behavioral framework and specialized in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders.

Mallory became a Licensed Master Social Worker in Texas in 2023 and is certified through the Strong Star Training Initiative in Cognitive Processing Therapy (2025). Her clinical interests include anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma-related conditions, and family systems. Mallory’s work is guided by a belief in each person’s capacity for growth, resilience, and lasting change.
